Writing Funny Copy: Do’s and Don’ts

The creative staffing agency I work through, Mathys+Potestio, asked me to write a blog post for them about the ins and outs of writing funny copy. I used to be afraid that my comedy background (and Twitter avatar) might prevent me from getting copy work, but it definitely seems as if lately the trend has been to seek out witty and humorous writing.
