About Caitlin

Caitlin Kunkel is a writer, teacher, and speaker whose work has been featured in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, on public radio, and across the vast internet. She’s represented by Susan Raihofer.

She’s the co-founder of the comedy site The Belladonna and the Satire and Humor Festival, created the online satire writing program for The Second City, and teaches workshops across the US and internationally.

Her first book, New Erotica for Feminists: Satirical Fantasies of Love, Lust, and Equal Pay, was named one of the 10 best comedy books of the year. Her second, Inside Jokes: A Comedy and Creativity Guide For All Writers, will be published by Grand Central in October 2026.

Caitlin lives in Queens, NY with her husband, son, and neurotic husky. One of whom just pooped on the floor.
